The target audience primarily includes scientists and developers working in the field of segmented gamma scanning, as well as users who wish to deepen their knowledge.

In contrast to the description of segmented gamma scanning, the various topics will no longer be addressed as a "journey" through the entire subject area, but rather as standalone sections. Many of the methods and procedures described in the "Users" section will be discussed in greater depth. Specifically, various evaluation methods will be presented, their derivations will be thoroughly discussed, and their validity or applicability will be examined and illustrated with examples.

The topics of measurement uncertainty, possible approaches to its determination, and the response to the frequently asked question of whether a specific measurement and evaluation method is suitable for the given application case will also be covered.

Where possible, we will illustrate the statements with results from practice.
